Ms. Maria A. Ajao, is a Nigerian-Ghanaian-American health professional, but most importantly, she is the creative director/owner of t-shirt company, Dual Citizen. After 4 trips to Ghana, Maria rediscovered herself; gained an understanding of who she is/where she comes from, and became inspired to start Dual Citizen. Dual Citizen empowers people to embrace their roots, know their identity, and value their culture. In addition, Dual Citizen was established to remind black people all over the world; Motherland and Diaspora that we are one and that we come from greatness. It’s about staying true to who we are and celebrating our dope blackness along the way.
