Dr. Ibe-Lamberts is joined by guest and longtime friend Dr. Daudet Ilunga Tshiswaka—an Assistant Professor in Public Health from The University of West Florida— to discuss his experience immigrating from D.R. Congo and becoming a transnational french speaking African immigrant in America. They also discuss the struggles with language barriers, adjusting the the U.S. culture, identifying with African Americans and building community among other french speaking Africans.
